- LonPaul's apartment above his mom's antique store on College; several years pass; half A-frame in the woods of Southern Indiana, stream in back; lots of kitchens and living rooms and bedrooms. highlights: LP on the couch with his laptop while Rusty and Tristan are under the house, jacking it up, trying to get it square; candles and old quilts in an WPA apartment with windows looking out onto the snow; a hot garage behind a grand old house on Meridian; Queensize Studios, in a warehouse right next to a giant vegetable cooler--always smelled like rotting vegetables; two blocks from my house, close enough to the jack and diane guitar to spit on it, only makes sense.
LonPaul is not around to enjoy any of this, but he is surely all over the place, including this album. Enjoy his guitar solo on Faerie Princess Soldier and his angelic voice on In One Place. - credits
